Today feels like it was really productive. I’m up over 19K on the second draft, I am up to date with my business course, the spare room now has a wardrobe and is TIDY for the first time since we moved in. It’s really nice actually…
And Spudd made his way into the second draft, albeit as a slightly older dog than in the original version. It’s good though, I’m happy with how it coming together so far and am interested to see where things go from here.
I am hoping to hit 20K tonight, it’d be good, because I think the final draft of this version will end up being around 90K, so it kind of feels like I am getting somewhere with it now. I’d love to get to 30K before August starts, because I think that would give me a much better chance of finishing this draft off during The End is Nigh. Which I would really really love to do.
All in all I am feeling a lot more ‘together’ than I was over the weekend, and that can be nothing but good.
We’ll struggle through “The End is Nigh” together, haha. I’m sure you can make it to 30k before the beginning of August. I’ll be needing word wars again very soon!

‘The End is Nigh’ is going to be a big challenge for us! I’ll want to get the next draft of Freeing the Flame done, but I’m not sure how realistic that is yet.
