Just Cassie

I am a full time mother/domestic goddess, and a part time writer of Speculative Fiction.

‘Just Cassie’ or J.C is a nickname I was given many years ago after being asked many times whether Cassie was short for anything – to which I would always reply ‘no, it’s just Cassie.’ I think it sums me up pretty well, and it also sums up what you’ll find on this blog. Just me, no pretenses.

Being a mother has really changed my life and made me want to realize my goals and passions more than ever. I want my kids to know that they can dream big dreams and walk the paths that suit them best.

I love to write, and hope to one day be published, though I’m well aware that could take me awhile. I’m more than happy knowing that there are some people out there who love my work, and the process itself is rewarding enough that I would do it even if no one wanted to read what I had to write.
