I cleaned my desk yesterday, and put all the books back on the shelves. I got rid of all the clutter and junk that had accumulated and it feels really nice to sit here now. I have some space to think, space to breath, which is exactly what I was hoping for with November not [...]

And the kitchen installation begins this evening. Or whenever Dad arrives anyways – he sounded like he hoped to get everything in, other than the bench top which will need a couple of sets of hands. But if there is time I am sure I can rustle some of those up! I had thought that [...]
The One Night Stand ending.

I’m taking a detour from spec-fic blogging week for now (hoping to get another post up later), as I really had to write this one.
I made it to the end of Lifelines again yesterday afternoon, happy with where things are at – other than one little thing.
The ending.
I’ve known there was something wrong with [...]

I’m finished.
I have just successfully completed my first ever second draft/full rewrite of a novel.
The total count comes in at 91,322 words, which is almost a 40,000 word improvement on the first draft – that’s a lot more novel, a lot more writing.
It feels surreal, I almost don’t even know how to go about describing [...]

So hard to resist, but I must.
All those other little projects are calling out to me and wanting to be looked at, thought of, written.
Yes, I know Jeremy, you have some things to learn and a death waiting and I must get you there, soon my dear, soon.
Ayden, your quest has been on hold for [...]

Just a regular 1.5K day yesterday – part of me wanted to continue but I just get so tired at the moment. Most of the morning was spent visiting a friend so I didn’t manage to get into the writing until after I’d put Ivy down for her nap.
You know, now that I write that, [...]
Sleep beautiful sleep

It’s really amazing how much difference a decent nights sleep can make – and by decent I mean I only got up twice lol
I’m still tired, but I’m not grumpy, so that’s something to be pleased about.
I got my 1,500 words yesterday, again, fairly hard work (and for you chibi, the one you commented on [...]

I managed to get my 1,500 words yesterday, though it seemed like quite the struggle. Am just glad that it got done eventually. I think it’s getting a little harder because this is where the story line is changing all around and being ‘new’ – definitely feel as if this whole section is going to [...]
